Turkish currency suffers decline: Medicines begin to disappear in the country

ANKARA: The depreciation of the Turkish lira has led to a nationwide drug crisis.

According to foreign media reports, the devaluation of the Turkish lira has caused citizens to lose even basic necessities. With the shortage of medicines in the country, people suffering from serious illnesses have been forced to stumble.

A Turkish citizen named Fateh Axel is also one of the thousands of people who are going from one pharmacy to another to buy their medicine but they are not getting the medicine they want.

According to the report, Fateh Axel suffers from Beheset Syndrome, an inflammatory disease of the blood vessels, for which he is facing severe difficulties due to lack of medication.

On the other hand, the Turkish Minister of Health called the news of the country’s drug crisis a fabrication.

It should be noted that according to the report of the Turkish Pharmacists Association, due to the devaluation of the lira, about 1000 medicines have become extinct in the country.
