Turkey has declared the Russian Su-35 as an alternative to the US for not getting F-16 aircraft.
F-16 talks are ongoing between Ankara and Washington, with Turkey keen to buy 40 F-16s to bolster its air defenses.
Ismail Demir, head of Turkey’s top defense agency, has said that if the US is unable to provide us with F-16 aircraft, Russian Su-35 aircraft will be purchased as an alternative.

It should be noted that the United States expelled Turkey from the F-35 contract for the purchase of the S-400 air defense system from Russia.
The Russian-made F-35 aircraft are supersonic jets capable of striking air, sea and land targets with great success.
