The statement also said that other Fox News anchors will continue to work on Carlson’s programs on an interim basis until a suitable permanent anchor can be found to replace him.

The two-paragraph statement did not give a reason why Carlson is leaving Fox News.

Just a few days ago, Fox Corporation settled the defamation case with Dominion out of court in exchange for paying 78 million 75 million US dollars.

Fox reported that Dominion was also involved in a scheme to steal votes in the 2020 US presidential election.

Dominion sued Fox, claiming the news was false and unacceptable. They alleged that Fox knowingly aired such news.

In his last week on Fox News, he interviewed Twitter CEO Elon Musk.

“We’ll be back on Monday,” Carlson said as he wrapped up his final show last Friday.
