Trump Strikes Back: White House Agenda Decreed

Donald Trump Embarks on Second Term in Office

After a historic start as the oldest US president, Donald Trump has begun his second term, determined to implement a multitude of measures aimed at erasing his predecessor’s legacy and tackling the issue of unauthorized immigration.

An Ambitious Agenda

At 78 years old, Trump is tackling his second term with unbridled enthusiasm, focusing on key campaign promises. These include bolstering the country’s hydrocarbon production, reaffirming the recognition of two sexes, and prioritizing a stern stance against unauthorized immigration.

Crackdown on Immigration

Trump has unveiled a series of initiatives as part of his anti-immigration strategy. This includes declaring a national state of emergency along the US-Mexico border, empowering the military to counter what he perceives as an “invasion,” and outlining plans for the deportation of millions of undocumented immigrants with a criminal record.

Furthermore, he has designated Mexican cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, citing an 18th-century law to target gangs, and has proposed imposing a 25% tariff on Mexico and Canada starting February 1.

Challenges Ahead

Despite Trump’s resolute intentions, it remains to be seen how effectively he will be able to implement these measures, given the narrow Republican majority in Congress and the anticipated legal challenges. Various social organizations have already contested his decision to abolish birthright citizenship in the United States.

Expansionist Aims

Trump has reiterated his goals for US expansion, expressing his determination to reclaim the Panama Canal, rebrand the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America, and secure Greenland from Denmark.
