Trump sexually assaulted the writer: US court

A New York court of the United States said that the former president of the country, Donald Trump, had sexually assaulted the writer Jeanne Carroll. However, Trump was acquitted of rape charges.

The writer will receive nearly $500,000 in damages for sexual assault and harassment at a department store in the 1990s.

However, Donald Trump was not present in the court during the judgment of this case. A video was shown before a jury board consisting of six men and three women. In that video, it can be seen that Trump is denying the allegations of rape.

New York has passed a law that allows victims to file sexual assault complaints years after the incident. Writer Jeanne Carroll sued Trump under that law.
