The news also drew a warm message from another Ukrainian national team player, Roman Yaremchuk. Yaremchuk knows Benfica well, having played for the Eagles during the 2021/22 season. He commented on Benfica’s official announcement, sharing his excitement. “Congratulations, Benfica. What a player,” Yaremchuk wrote, signaling his approval and the high regard in which Sudakov is held by his compatriots.
