Not only the president of El Salvador has used the recent price drop to buy extra Bitcoins. Justin Sun, the founder of Tron, has done the exact same thing.
Justin Sun and Bukele Both Buy BTC for 15 Million
El Salvador’s president Nayib Bukele announced on Twitter that the country had purchased 500 Bitcoins for a total of $15.3 million. The president did this amid the recent fall in the crypto market. The country now owns a total of 2,301 BTC tokens.
Just 12 hours after Bukele’s announcement, Tron founder Justin Sun followed in El Salvador’s footsteps by also purchasing 500 coins totaling $15.5 million.
Bukele was very happy with the purchase he had made in the midst of the dip. 11 hours after his purchase, he already tweeted that if he wanted to, his 500 Bitcoins could already have been resold with a million dollars in profit. However, he does not intend to. Bukele has taken advantage of the crypto market dip several times in the past.
