Triptii Dimri’s career is taking off. Her upcoming movie “Dhadak 2” is set to release on August 1. But before that, she got a blow. Her film with Malayalam cinema superstar Fahadh Faasil, directed by Imtiaz Ali, has been shelved indefinitely.
The film was supposed to be produced under Imtiaz’s production company Window Seat Films, in association with Reliance Entertainment. However, sources from Reliance claim that the budget for the film has not been approved yet. Fahadh Faasil has also allocated the dates he had reserved for this film to other projects.
After her nude scenes in the film “Animal” and her nickname “Bhabi 2” trending on social media, Triptii Dimri’s career is looking up. Although her last two films, “Bad News” and “Vicky Vidyatha’s video”, were flops, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” has restored her position. The demand for her has increased significantly since then.
Triptii Dimri has recently been in the news for signing the film “Spirit” alongside Prabhas, which was previously supposed to star Deepika Padukone. Deepika had dropped out of the film due to unclear working hours. Triptii also has another film, “Animal Park”, with the same director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, where she will reprise her role from “Animal”.
The delay in the shooting of Imtiaz Ali’s film will likely have a direct impact on Triptii’s other projects as well. Despite attempts to contact Window Seat Films, no updates have been received so far.
With the release of “Dhadak 2” approaching, the filmmakers and directors who want to cast Triptii in their films are getting anxious. This will be Siddharth Chaturvedi’s second solo lead film in theaters, and his previous film “Yudhra” was declared a flop on the first day of its release. This has also affected Triptii, who is the female lead in “Dhadak 2”.
