Trea Turner goes to the Phillies for 11 years and US$300 million

Shortstop Trea Turner and the Philadelphia Phillies agreed to an 11-year, $300 million deal Monday, a source told MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand.

The pact, which has not been confirmed by the team, includes a clause that allows Turner to block any changes, the source told Feinsand himself.

In 2022, Turner played in 160 games for the Dodgers, demonstrating his durability, and led the National League with 708 plate appearances. He had 194 hits, second in the majors behind Freddie Freeman, who had 199. The 29-year-old shortstop also won his first Silver Slugger.
