While the Japanese have achieved 10,997 sales, the French have added 8,691 sales
One of the great surprises this year has undoubtedly been knowing that the toyota-rav4 is no longer the king of the brand. And it is that his famous hybrid SUV has ceased to be Japanese top-selling brandwhich now has a new bestseller.
The advantage of Toyota versus Peugeot, the second best-selling brand adding January and February, is not less. While the Japanese have achieved 10,997 sales, the French have added 8,691 sales, that is, a difference in favor of Toyota of neither more nor less than more than 2,000 registrations.
The Toyota RAV4 has been pushed into the background when it comes to sales
Toyota’s success is based on several factors, but its great offer is clearly one of them. And it is that this past February the Japanese manufacturer has managed to put six of its models among the 100 best sellers, and four of them among the top 20 with the greatest success.
And among the many Toyotas that have good sales figures, it is clear that the king is now the Corolla, a model that has displaced the RAV4 to the background. The Japanese compact can continue to boast of being the best-selling model so far this year in Spain.
The new best-selling model has a good relationship between quality and price
In the case of the RAV4, the mid-size SUV has finished this past February in a more than discreet position 54 with 425 sales, a figure that, added to the sales of last January, causes it to be in position 38 in the overall list.
And much of its success is the excellent relationship between quality and price of the compact. Especially considering that this model has a hybrid engine that helps it to wear the DGT ECO label, an increasingly determining factor for many buyers.
