The Barrière casino in Toulouse was the scene of a very violent robbery. At the end of August, a nonagenarian who had just won several hundred euros was strangled in the toilet by a couple who wanted their money.
That day, this 90-year-old player, who has just won 600 euros at the games, thinks she is lucky. But she doesn’t yet know what to expect. As she goes to the toilet of the establishment, she is expected at the exit by the two thieves. The man then strangles her with his belt and hits her, reports The Dispatch. After stealing her earnings and her wallet, he leaves her unconscious in a toilet cubicle.
Once out of the casino, the thief’s partner and accomplice tries to withdraw money with the victim’s bank card. The withdrawal does not work but the two thugs manage to make a contactless purchase with the card of the old lady.
A fracture of the femoral bone
The latter who suffers from an invoice of the femoral bone was prescribed 35 days of rest.
As for the two thieves, they were taken into custody and will be tried in court immediately next Monday.
