Loïc Badé has become an important part of Sevilla’s defense. Together with Sergio Ramos, he has consolidated his position as one of the central pillars of Quique Sánchez Flores, who has known how to alternate his team in defense with players like Kike Salas, Marcao and Acuña.
The Frenchman arrived in Sevilla after a period of inactivity in England and wore the Nottingham Forest shirt. He is now established at the Andalusian club and in the Spanish league and his performances have attracted interest from Premier League teams including Tottenham. Badé appreciates this recognition and is motivated to continue improving: “I’m focused on the work and concentrating on the games. It’s pleasing to know that important teams are showing interest, but my attention here is on my performance,” he said in an interview for Estadio Deportivo.
I’m grateful for the interest, but it’s focused on Seville
Despite Tottenham’s interest, the defender doesn’t lose his calm or concentration: “It’s satisfying that a club like Tottenham notices you, but my focus is on working hard and staying focused on the games.”
Badé also made his commitment to the Seville project clear and showed his connection to the city and the club: “I feel very comfortable here. I will stay here for many more years if necessary. I feel really comfortable.” His attitude and performance on the pitch are clear evidence of his commitment to the Andalusian team.
