Torreense Signs Gustavo Ramalho, 22-Year-Old Fluminense Goalkeeper

The air around the club’s training ground always seems to hum with quiet anticipation during the transfer window. This week, Torreense made a clear statement about their plans for the future. On Wednesday, the club officially welcomed Gustavo Ramalho, a promising young goalkeeper, into the fold. This move had been hinted at by Record earlier, and now it’s done.

Ramalho, a 22-year-old Brazilian, joins from Fluminense. He spent the 2024 season playing for Fluminense’s Under-23 squad. The main team already had plenty of talent, so playing time was hard to come by. His arrival marks the second new face in goal for Torreense this transfer period. Earlier, the Portuguese side brought in Spanish keeper Unai Pérez.

With these new additions, the "blue and garnet" team now has quite a crowd between the posts. Thiago Rodrigues, Lucas Paes, and Silas Bjerre are also on the roster. It seems Torreense is ready for a real battle for the starting goalkeeper spot. This competition should push every player to perform at their very best.
