Windows 11 22H2: End of Servicing Approach on October 8, 2024
Microsoft has announced that support for Windows 11 22H2 will end on October 8, 2024. This means that no new security updates or bug fixes will be available for the Home, Pro, Pro Education, and Pro for Workstations versions.
What Users Should Do
If you are still using Windows 11 22H2, it is recommended that you upgrade to the latest version, Windows 11 23H2, by October at the latest. Microsoft provides an upgrade guide [1]. However, Windows 11 24H2 is expected to be released in the fall.
Automatic Upgrades for Corporate Users
For Windows 11 computers in corporate use that are not centrally managed by IT, Windows will automatically launch a feature update to keep them up to date and secure.
