Paris has not finished hearing about Mohamed Cheikh, the sympathetic winner of the last season of Top Chef. While his ephemeral Manzili table at the Jardin des Plantes (Paris 5th) has been a hit all summer, the young chef has just announced a new project.
He will be in residence at The Pagoda of Cos, one of the restaurants of the prestigious La Reserve hotel (Paris 8th). “I have the honor and the pleasure to announce my invitation to one of the most beautiful hotels in the world, La Réserve Paris” he indicated on his Instagram account, which already has more than 150,000 subscribers.
This new adventure is in fact a story of reunion. Eleven years ago, Mohamed Cheikh was Jérôme Banctel’s intern at Alain Senderens. Today the chef officiates at the Reserve and is crowned with two stars in the Michelin guide for his table Gabriel.

The two men found themselves on the Top Chef set, one as a member of the jury, the other in competition.
Mohamed Cheikh will bring “his ardor, his generosity and his sunny creativity to the new menu,” says the press release announcing the project.
It will be submitted to customers from October 8 until December 4. Fans will be able to book their table from the end of September.
