Tom Brady, seven times champion, will go to Fox Sports when he retires

Tom Brady, siete veces campeón, se irá a Fox Sports cuando se retire

Tom Brady will join Fox Sports as a football analyst after his playing career is over, the network announced Tuesday.

It’s unclear when that will happen because the seven-time Super Bowl champion recently changed his mind about retiring and decided to continue playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in their 23rd NFL season.

Fox Corporation CEO Lachlan Murdoch made the announcement during a corporate investor conference call on Tuesday.

“Over the course of his long-term deal, Tom will provide not only the narration for our major NFL games with Kevin Buckhardt, but he will also serve as our ambassador, particularly on promotional and client initiatives,” Murdoch said.

Murdoch said it’s “entirely up to Brady” when he decides to retire and join Fox. Brady guided the Buccaneers to a Super Bowl title after the 2020 season and the NFC South championship last season. In 20 seasons with coach Bill Belichick on the New England Patriots, he won six Super Bowl titles.

Fox recently lost its football announcers, Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, to ESPN. He replaced Buck with Burkhardt.
