Tom Brady misses Buccaneers practice with hand and shoulder injury

Tom Brady is experiencing the worst start since he joined the Buccaneers (in 2020 and 2021 Tampa Bay was 3-1 after four games) and the situation seems to be complicated more at Raymond James Stadium.

This Wednesday the Bucs released their first injury report ahead of the game against the Falcons and Brady did not see activity in the training session due to injuries in the right hand and shoulder (his throwing arm).

Why didn’t Brady train?

Since Week 3 the 23-year veteran has had problems with his right ring finger; despite the ailments he saw activity against the Packers and Chiefs ─he added 70 passes for 656 yards and four touchdown passes in both games.

“It didn’t affect me at all. I feel better than last week, ”said Brady about it after the game against Green Bay. “The finger was very swollen, but it’s part of the game, I think a lot of us have bruises in the league.”

In the case of shoulder discomfort, it was derived from a catch L’Jarius Sneed’s quarterback in the second quarter of the game against Kansas City. As a result of that sack, Brady lost possession of the ball.

Although Brady has multiple strokes, it should be remembered that the quarterback is guaranteed a bye every Wednesday of the regular season. Coach Todd Bowles explained that it is a recognition of his veteran and leadership.
