To impress his wife, the husband hacked the passport verification system

A man in India hacked the passport verification system to impress his wife.

According to Indian media, the Mumbai Police has arrested a person from Ghaziabad in the state of Uttar Pradesh for hacking the passport verification system.

The police said that the man named Raja Babu Shah is a civil engineer by profession and his wife works in Mumbai.

Raja Babu Shah’s wife wanted to go abroad, in this regard she had submitted some documents to the police as per law to get a passport.

It took too long to verify the documents, so he hacked the passport verification system in Mumbai to impress his wife.

Raja Babu Shah hacked the system in September last year and cleared not only his wife but also 2 other applications so that no one would doubt why only one application was cleared.

A case of cheating under the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act was registered against an unidentified person at the Azad Maidan police station in Mumbai. The police traced the accused during investigation.
