Tiny11, a slimmed-down, slim version of Windows 11, is available for free download in the new version Tiny11 2311. The latest release is based on Windows 11 23H2. Compared to the previous version, Tiny11 is said to have become an impressive 20 percent smaller.

This makes Tiny11 even more suitable than its predecessors for installation on older computers with smaller hard drives. The shared the developer group NTDEV via X/Twitter with:
You should be able to install the upcoming cumulative updates from Microsoft on computers with Tiny11 2311. So Tiny 11 2311 can receive all security updates from Microsoft.
In addition, Windows 11’s Copilot should even be able to be activated and used. Please note, however, that Microsoft has not yet released Copilot for users in Germany. You can read more about this in Windows 11: This trick already activates AI Copilot in Germany.
It is still true that you can leave out many Microsoft programs that you do not need, such as Edge. This saves a lot of storage space.

This is Tiny11
We present Tiny11, which even runs entirely in the memory of a graphics card, in detail in this article: Windows 11 runs entirely in the memory of a graphics card – 4 GB is enough. With Tiny11 you can install a significantly slimmed down Windows 11 without TPM requirement. 8 GB of memory and 2 GB of RAM should be enough. This should allow Tiny11 to be installed on many computers that are too old for Windows 11 or whose hardware is not sufficient for it.
