Tilak Varma, Suryakumar Yadav
The Indian side may be 2-1 down against the West Indies in the five-game T20I series, but the team have found another rising star in Tilak Verma. Tilak Verma hit an inning of 39 runs in the first 22 balls on his T20 International debut and grabbed a lot of headlines. After that he scored 51 runs in the second T20 and also made his first international fifties. He then won hearts with his batting in the third T20, playing an unbeaten inning of 49 runs and playing a major role in the team’s victory. So far he is also the best scorer in this series with 139 runs.
In all three of his first T20 internationals, he hit 30+ runs with the racquet. He was also the second Indian batsman to do so, after Suryakumar Yadav. Surya made his international debut in 2021 and caused quite a stir in the T20 cricket world with his first three innings. Tilak Verma also started his career the same way. He’s also second with Surya for runs in his first three T20 games. Deepak Hooda is at the forefront on this matter.

Tilak gave victory to India with Surya
Tilak Verma started his international career in a great way. He scored 49 runs in that match and went unbeaten on 37 balls. His innings included four fours and one six. He formed a game-winning partnership of 87 runs for the third wicket with Team India vice-captain Suryakumar Yadav and played an important role in the team’s victory. Thanks to his 49 not-outs and Surya’s brilliant innings of 83 runs, the Indian team won their third T20 match by 7 wickets after losing the first two matches, bringing the streak to 2-1. The fourth and fifth games will now be played in Florida on August 12th and 13th.
