The TikTok social network released its stories or Stories in August 2021, thus following the example of Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook and even WhatsApp (with its States). However, its availability was not global, something that is about to change according to the latest information.
More specifically, TikTok Stories will be available in the discovery menu of this social network, the “For you” or “For you” section where we can also find more content. The information is now advanced by social media consultant Matt Navarra, one of the most credible sources in the industry.
There are several changes to the app and TikTok Stories
So instead of having its own tab or tab, TikTok Stories will be displayed on the feeding “For you” of this social network to increase your exposure and encourage its use. In practice, it will suffice to do Travel, browse this app to find this new content coming to the platform.
Equally interesting is the fact that the TikTok social network calls these “quick” Stories in the camera mode of its native camera app. Something that highlights the speed in the creation and capture of this content, as well as the subsequent exchange.
On the other hand, when doing Travel for the content of feeding these contents will be presented with the label “Storie”, or history, to differentiate them from the others. This duality shows us that the company still weighs the exact name of its Stories.
Stories are the favorite format of social networks in 2022
At the same time, we see that Instagram incorporates many of the features and approaches of TikTok. The changes in the Instagram application have been gradual and consistent in the adoption of successful formulas such as, for example, the Travel vertical.
In addition, we also have the 60-second Stories already present in the Meta group application, as well as other functions that are gradually arriving on the platform. Among the first regions to receive the new features is Brazil, as well as Turkey.
Finally, TikTok Stories are visible to all users who have posted them with a public profile. Until now we could only see the Stories of the users we followed, something that has now also changed.
