TikTok announces the official launch of its new logistics service Fulfilled by TikTok (FBT) in the UK. The social network takes another step in its quest to conquer e-commerce by once again directly challenging the industry’s big players like Amazon, Shein and Temu. Specifically, as TikTok reports in a statement, this service will make this possible store, collect, pack and ship the products to the end customer aiming to free sellers from logistics management so they can focus on producing engaging content on TikTok to market their products.
With it, TikTok intends to shorten delivery times and improve customers’ shopping experience. “We’re proud to announce the launch of Fulfilled by TikTok (FBT), a new logistics program that will make it easier than ever for sellers using the TikTok Shop in the UK to sell on the platform.”, they have highlighted from the social network.
Fulfilled by TikTok offers users automated same-day fulfillment for all orders placed before 7:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, as well as premium next-business-day delivery service. Parcels may not exceed a weight of 30 kilograms or a cubic volume of 31.5 cubic liters per shipment.
However, it should be pointed out TikTok will not be the one to broadcast or save. The social network has made a difference Cooperation with external logistics fulfillment service providers (3PL) to receive, pick, pack and ship items to customers. Returns are also managed through the Fulfilled by TikTok service.
