TikTok launches a platform for talent managers


TikTok now it also simplifies the work of brands with their creators ‘megastars’ with an update of its Creator Marketplace that invites the talent managers to monitor, execute and analyze brand opportunities and campaigns presented to their clients.

Specifically, as progress has been made TechCrunchthe new service allows Talent Managers, with the authorization of the creator, sign in to the Creator Marketplace to manage the deal flownegotiate contracts on behalf of your talent, handle creative feedback, as well as review various reports and metrics about a campaign’s performance.

The expansion allows TikTok to now not only serve the needs of creators with tens or hundreds of thousands of followers, but also creators “celebrity level”

TikTok has explained that, for the moment, the new platform is in testing phase. The free service already has several agencies signed up, but for now it can’t share tester names. In addition, TikTok has noted that “Talent managers will only have access to their clients’ Marketplace accounts, not creators’ actual TikTok accounts.”

Released in 2019, TikTok Creator Marketplace plays a key role in the growing creator monetization ecosystem, joining similar platforms offered by Facebook, Instagram, Snap and YouTube that help creators develop relationships within the influencer marketing space.

Beyond being a destination in itself, Creator Marketplace it also introduced an API in 2021 that allows marketing companies to access their proprietary data within their own systems. At the moment, the company has not given details about the launch date.
