How does TikTok Now work?
This is a new experience that will give users daily prompts to share impromptu photos or short videos, using the front and rear cameras of their mobile device. The notification that will arrive will be at a random time. So people will not take their moments when they decide, but when the application algorithm tells them to. They will have three minutes to take photographs or videos of up to ten minutes. Friends will be able to see each other’s photos in the app’s friends feed or each other’s posts in the Explore feed.
Several tests will be carried out on TikTok Now in the coming weeks. In Spain, it can be accessed from the TikTok application or from its independent app. In other regions, TikTok Now will be available within TikTok and/or downloadable as a new app. The platform thus continues to improve the user experience and learn how the social network community adopts this new creative format.
