Behind the Scenes: Censor Board Cuts
Before its release, “Baaghi 4” faced some challenges. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) asked the filmmakers to remove or change 23 visual and audio segments. These included violent scenes depicting throat-slitting, hand-cutting, and sword killings. The board also instructed the removal of a scene featuring an idol of Jesus Christ. Dialogues containing words like “bhang” and “condom,” along with expletives, were either muted or replaced. An 11-second highly violent scene was also completely removed from the final cut.
The “Baaghi” Legacy
“Baaghi 4” marks the fourth installment in the popular “Baaghi” film series. The first movie, simply titled “Baaghi,” was released in 2016. It was followed by “Baaghi 2” in 2018. “Baaghi 3” then came out in 2020, leading up to this latest successful chapter.
