When we talk about truly smart smartwatches, the great flaw noted is, overwhelmingly, autonomy. This is the great Achilles heel of equipment such as the Apple Watch or alternatives with Google Wear OS.
But Mobvoi has just presented a new smartwatch that surprises, and a lot, in this regard. It is called TicWatch Pro X, and it is a product very similar to the already known TicWatch Pro 3. The great attraction is that it can provide up to 45 days of autonomy.
With two screens, TicWatch Pro X promises up to 45 days of autonomy
For that, the TicWatch Pro X has two overlapping 1.39-inch screens. The main one is an AMOLED panel, which will be used for the most demanding tasks of navigation and use of all applications.
But since these tasks are not always necessary, it also has a low-power FSTN LCD screen for more basic tasks. This means that it can vary between an autonomy of four and the aforementioned 45 days.
TicWatch Pro X works with Snapdragon 4100
Like the TicWatch Pro 3, this model has the powerful Snapdragon 4100 processor inside it. This is combined with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage for your favorite applications.
The device has important features like NFC, 4G and built-in GPS. It is IP68 certified, more than 20 sports modes, SpO2 and a heart rate sensor capable of monitoring arrhythmias.
TicWatch Pro X has been presented so far in China 2,399 yuan (about 322 euros). There is no forecast yet on when the global launch will be.
