The “Love multiplies” initiative, which encompasses various projects, including creating murals and community forumsadvances in its call to Mexican communities to promote a culture of recycling.

As proof of this, the second mural unveiled by the Mexican Coca-Cola Industry in Monterrey, the country’s second most populous city, is part of its commitment to recycling, and contributes to its goal of achieving a World Without Waste in 2030, with the recovery and recycling of 100% of its packaging placed on the market.

The second work, entitled “Intercer”, was made by Bp Vinalay, an urban muralist from Monterrey, where a woman stars in the image collecting garbage while two birds show her a clean and contaminant free, giving the example that small actions can make a real change for the planet.

Previously, the IMCC also inaugurated a mural in Mexico City that it called “Hope achieves the impossible” by its author Dulce V. Ríos, in which the community of the town of Xoco participated.

Said painting, on one of the walls in front of the Cineteca Nacional of the Benito Juárez mayor’s office, in the Mexican capital, exposes the traditions and culture of the town of Xoco with two women who star in the colorful postcard, which also seeks to empower female talent. .

The remaining murals also will focus on the initiative “Love multiplies”because Coca-Cola puts love at the center as “an engine that unites, transforms and makes us better as people.”

For its part, the next forum will take place next August in the Iztapalapa mayor’s office in the Mexican capital, where it will seek to promote recycling.

The movement “El Amor Multiplica” seeks that citizens, organizations and authorities develop projects such as the rehabilitation of public spaces, participate in community murals, or, propose alternative and collaborative solutions that positively impact their communities.
