The Ministry of Manpower and Social Welfare of Saudi Arabia has issued an explanatory statement regarding the viral information on social media regarding the three-day holiday in a week.
According to the Arab newspaper Tonti, the ministry was questioned regarding this information, in which it is claimed that the law of three days holiday in a week is going to be enforced in the kingdom soon.
The Ministry says that the current labor law is being reviewed, as per usual, the Ministry of Laws is reviewed for changes.
The Ministry also strives to make the Saudi market more attractive to domestic and international investors by providing jobs to more Saudi citizens.
The ministry says that the proposed draft of the new labor law has been released on the portal for public opinion review.
