Athletic’s training session on Monday morning was a special occasion, as the team opened the doors of their stadium to fans, allowing them to bid farewell to an unforgettable year. The event coincided with the school holiday period, attracting many young fans who were eager to see their idols up close.

The stadium was filled with 27,522 spectators, all of whom had reserved their seats in advance through the club’s website. Despite being a free event, the club had implemented this measure to control capacity. The enthusiasm was palpable, with queues forming at the stadium doors from early morning.

A Special Treat for Young Fans

At the end of the training session, the footballers distributed gifts to the fans, including caps, t-shirts, and other club merchandise. This gesture brought joy to the young fans, who had come prepared with banners and messages of encouragement for their favorite players.

Team News

On the sports side, there were a few notable absences and developments during the training session. Sancet did not participate in the training, while Ruiz de Galarreta started with the group but later withdrew. Dani Vivián and Beñat Prados also had limited participation, only taking part in the rondos with the group before training separately.
