This will be the Unicaja calendar for the BCL

The Basketball Champions League (BCL) has published the schedule of the matches of the first phase of the competition, in which Unicaja was framed in the Group A together with the Greek Peristeri, the French Le Mans and the Hungarian Falco Szombathely. This phase will take place between Tuesday, October 17, and Wednesday, December 20. The suspension of the November window for official matches has helped to ‘humanize’ the calendar.

Ibon Navarro’s team will play its first game on Wednesday, October 18, at the Falco Szombathely court at 6:00 p.m. The first home game will be on Tuesday, October 24, against Le Mans, at 8:30 p.m., which will be usual, as last year, in the European competition matches at the Martín Carpena. On Tuesday, November 7, the Peristeri is welcomed at the Carpena (8:30 p.m.), the team led by none other than the legendary Vassilis Spanoulis.

The second round will start with a visit to Le Mans, another typical French team that tends to give the verdimorados a lot of problems. It will be on Wednesday, November 22 (8:30 p.m.). Two weeks later, Wednesday, December 6, they will play in Malaga against Szombathely (8:30 p.m.) and the first phase will finish on Tuesday, December 19 in Athens against Peristeri (6:00 p.m.).

The first classified will directly access the Round of 16 while second and third will play a play-in with third and second, respectively, from group B made up of Rytas Vilnius (Lithuania), Dijon (France), Promitheas Patrasso (Greece) and Opava (Czech Republic).
