Some of the main specifications of the Nubia Red Magic 7 have just been revealed and, if the information is confirmed, this smartphone will shake rival models such as the Xiaomi 12 Pro.

All because it supports a fast charging of 165 watts and a refresh rate of 165 Hz, among other top specs.

Nubia’s Red Magic 7 will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1

A new Nubian smartphone with model number NX679J appeared on various certification sites and has now been spotted on the GeekBench benchmarking platform as well. All data indicates that this will be the brand’s next Red Magic 7 model.

At the same time, the main specifications of this new smartphone are also beginning to emerge, with which Nubia can shake up the market. If the information now published is confirmed, the brand has “played” the model with higher specifications that surpass some of the most recent flagship models released, namely the Xiaomi 12 Pro.

Apparently it will have the same processor as the Xiaomi 12 Pro, that is, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. In this specific specification, we highlight GeekBench platform test results revealing that Nubia Red Magic 7 scored 1219 points in single core and 3732 in multicore mode.

Nubia beats Xiaomi in RAM and fast charging

Following the specifications, it runs Android 12, just like Xiaomi’s rival does under the MIUI 13 interface. But in the next feature, the Nubian model begins to conquer the Xiaomi flagship; the Red Magic 7 will be equipped with 18 GB of RAM. Now the highest variant of the Xiaomi 12 Pro has 12 GB of RAM.

We move on to support for fast charging and, once again, the Red Magic 7 comes out the winner with a capacity of 165 watts while the Xiaomi model only registers a maximum of 120 watts.

Now, in terms of the screen specifications, we learn that the OLED of the Red Magic 7 has a refresh rate of 165 Hz compared to 120 Hz of the Xiaomi 12 Pro and here too Nubia scores points.

But on the optical side, the winner changes. The Xiaomi 12 Pro has a triple rear camera setup with three sensors of 50 megapixels each. The Red Magic 7 will not undergo any major changes from its predecessor and should also come equipped with a triple rear camera setup with a 64 megapixel primary sensor, an eight second and a macro sensor of just two megapixels.

Soon, we may have more news about the Red Magic 7 from Nubia, depending on its passage through the different certification sites, and it is possible that the brand will launch it in a few months.
