The Dominican Athletics Federation will hold this Saturday the qualifiers to choose the athletes who achieve the marks with a view to the World Indoor Championship, which will take place from 18 to 20 in Belgrade, Serbia.
The information was provided by the former Olympic athlete and president of the Federation of Athletics Associations, Gerardo Suero Correa.
He stated that this activity will take place at the athletics track of the municipality of Bayaguana, in the province of Monte Plata.
He indicated that Fiordaliza Coffil, Liranyi Alonzo, Cristopher Valdez, among other athletes, will be competing in the tie.
“It will be a qualifying competition of high technical quality, since there will be athletes who have participated in World Championships, Pan American Games, Central American Games and Grand Prix in different modalities,” he said.
Suero Correa indicated that everything is ready for the celebration of this tie that has generated great expectations among the competitors from the different provinces of the country.
