Buckingham Palace released this Saturday the plan that stipulates how the farewell to the mortal remains of the Queen isabel II, which will culminate with the state funeral at Westminster Abbey on September 19.
From the Scottish castle of Balmoral, the place of her death last Thursday at the age of 96, the coffin of Elizabeth II will pass through Edinburgh and London, where a chapel will be held burning Four Days, before being buried in Windsor, west of the British capital.
This is the program, day by day, starting tomorrow, September 11:
11 OF SEPTEMBER
Around 10:00 local time (09:00 GMT), the royal procession with the coffin where he rests Isabel II departs from Balmoral Castle in the direction of the capital of Scotland, Edinburgh.
The hearse will stop in the nearby town of Ballater a few minutes later to receive homage from the residents of the region. At 11:00 (10:00 GMT) the procession will pass through the city of Aberdeen and about three hours later through Dundee, to arrive at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, in Edinburgh, around 16:00 (15:00 GMT).
There he will rest until the next day, in the so-called Throne Room.
SEPTEMBER 12
In the afternoon, a procession will form in the courtyard of the Palace of Holyroodhouse that will accompany the coffin to Saint Giles Cathedral, in the same city. The king charles iii and members of the Royal Family will participate in the procession and a subsequent religious service in the temple to receive the mortal remains.
A funeral chapel begins in the cathedral so that the Scots can say goodbye to the queen, whose body will be guarded by the Royal Company of Archers.
SEPTEMBER 13TH
The coffin leaves in the afternoon from Edinburgh airport on a plane from the Air Force (RAF) to Northolt aerodrome, west of London, accompanied by Princess Anne, daughter of Elizabeth II. From there it is transferred by road to Buckingham Palace, where it will rest in the circular room called Bow Roomwhere the queen used to offer lunch to visiting heads of state.
SEPTEMBER 14
The coffin is transported in procession in a Royal Mounted Artillery mount (cart for transporting cannons) to the Palace of Westminster, seat of the British Parliament, where a funeral chapel is installed in Westminster Hall (the oldest building in the complex) for four days, until the state funeral.
Once the body arrives at the scene, through the streets of the political center of the capital, the Archbishop of Canterbury, Primate of the Anglican Church, will officiate a religious service accompanied by the Dean of Westminster, David Hoyle, in which they will be present the king and his family.
FROM SEPTEMBER 15 TO 18

At the end of the funeral, Elizabeth II will be transferred to the Arch of Wellington and from there to the chapel of St George at Windsor Castle, on the outskirts of London, along the path known as the Long Walk ("long walk"). In that place a last religious service will take place before Elizabeth II is buried.
