Rahul Dravid, coach of the Indian cricket team: Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, Team India will play a two-match Test series starting December 26. The Indian team is yet to win a single Test series on South African soil. In South Africa, the Indian team came close to winning the series on several occasions but missed out each time. India had a 1-0 lead in the three-match series in 2021-22 but squandered it and lost the series 1-2. Even before the Test series against South Africa, coach Dravid said big things.

Rahul Dravid said that we have been touring South Africa since 1992 and have played really good cricket here too. We won friendlies here and drew a few. But we haven’t been able to win a series here yet. There were one or two tests where we thought we had a chance of winning, but we couldn’t. Since this series is very short, if we don’t start the series well, there will be very little time to bounce back. With this series consisting of just two matches, India cannot make a mistake in their desire to win in Test cricket.
Dravid said that we will try to do very well in the entire series. Even if we have succeeded in some cases in the past. That gives us a level of confidence that we can win and play good cricket in such conditions. I will try to play well in both Tests and hopefully win the series.
This way you can win test matches
The Indian team will play the Test match after five months. Coach Rahul Dravid said that we have seen that there is a lot of bounce and seam movement which makes batting a bit difficult. If you don’t perform well in the game in one session, you will fall behind in the game. For example, six to seven wickets shouldn’t fall in a session and someone has to step up and try to build a partnership. But in South Africa you need 50-60 extra runs with the bat and people who bat well despite constantly falling wickets. He will make a big contribution to winning the game.
