This is how the F1 drivers’ championship was after the Spanish GP

Max Verstappen established himself with the victory of the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix, dominating the race from start to finish in Montmeló (Circuit of Barcelona – Catalonia).

Lewis Hamilton took second place, after starting in fourth position; the British managed to overcome the Spanish Carlos Sainz of Ferrari and McLaren’s Lando Norris.

The podium was completed by the also British George Russellwho had a brilliant performance because after starting from 12th position he completed the double podium for Mercedes.

With the improvements implemented in the single-seater, the Mercedes team is giving a coup of authority on the table and glimpses on the horizon the prominence that it had lost recently in the Formula 1 championship.

for his part Mexican Sergio ‘Checo’ Pérezfinished in fourth position after having started in eleventh position, recomposing what was shown during qualifying on Saturday.

The Spaniards Carlos Sainz of Ferrari finished in fifth place, while Fernando Alonso of Aston Martin saw the checkered in seventh place.
