OIympiacos, Barça, Madrid and Monaco will face the Euroleague quarterfinals with the home court factor in their favor. This is the only certainty that exists in the absence of two days to close the regular phase of the Euroleague. The rest, a mystery: from the final order of that group to the other four classified for the pre-Final Four qualifiers, going through the pairings in the crosses. The accounts to unravel these doubts are the following:
Olympiacos (1st, 23-9).
They only need one victory to be first: either against Red Star this Thursday or against Baskonia.
Barcelona (2nd, 22-10).
He will finish first if he wins his two remaining duels (Milan this Friday and Valencia) and Olympiacos loses both. In case of a tie, the average is favorable to the Greeks (+17). Second if he wins everything. Also with a victory and a defeat for Madrid (average +2 in favor).
Madrid (3rd, 22-10).
To be first, they have to beat Bayern this Thursday and next week in Tel Aviv and that neither Olympiacos nor Barça win anymore: average lost with both (-15 and -2, respectively). Second with two wins and a culé defeat or with one and two falls from his eternal rival.
Monaco (4th, 21-11).
It will advance in the table if it wins what remains (Partizán and Efes) and Barça and/or Madrid lose everything in these last days (average against both).
Maccabi (5th, 19-13).
Without getting anything positive in these last two days, he can be in the quarterfinals. If he wins this Thursday in Kaunas or on Friday the 14th against Madrid, inside. He will finish fifth if he gets both or if he imitates Fenerbahçe’s results.
Fenerbahce (6th, 18-14).
Winning the two remaining duels (Efes this Thursday or Red Star next week) classifies him. With only one, a defeat by Baskonia or Zalgiris will do. To be fifth, win everything and Maccabi lose one (the draw favors them: +11 in the average). Only one win is worth it, if those from Tel Aviv stay at zero.
Partizan (7th, 18-14).
Beat Monaco this Friday or Pao he puts: he has the average won with Baskonia (+11), Zalgiris (+25) and Efes (+16).
Baskonia (8th, 17-15).
If they defeat Asvel this Thursday and Olympiacos the next day, inside. If he only gets one, he needs the Zalgiris not to win both or the Fener lose both or that if Partizan loses both, Zalgiris only wins.
Zalgiris (9th, 17-15).
To be in the quarterfinals they must beat Maccabi and Bayern, Baskonia lose at least one duel and Partizán or Fener not win more. With a victory: the Basques do not win anything and that Efes lose at least one (unless the Fener falls in both, Partizan takes out at least one and Efes loses everything).
Ephes (10th, 16-16).
If they finish the last two games undefeated, they need Zalgiris and Baskonia to only get something positive this week or the next, and for Fenerbahçe to be beaten in the two remaining duels.
