The Ukrainian war continues to leave behind unusual scenes recorded at the front. The latest footage we have received shows a Russian soldier trying to defend himself with a stick while being harassed by a Ukrainian pilot drone with first-person view (FPV). This can be seen in the video published by the Rubak Wild Division of the Ukrainian Armed Forcesspecializing in the management of unmanned aircraft, experts in tracking tanks and all types of Russian military vehicles.
The images show the uniformed man circling a car in the middle of a plain while a Ukrainian FPV drone hovers above him. At one point, the already desperate soldier tries to “scare” the plane with a stick he has on hand in order to get rid of the device in what could be the Russian soldier’s last minutes of life. In the meantime, Another drone records the scene from a higher position.
A longer version of this scene, posted on Rubak Wild Division’s Telegram channel, offers a few more seconds in which the soldier appears to lie motionless on the ground “writhing in pain,” reveals The Drive, which explains that FPV drones dwarf traditional anti-tank weapons in some aspects and even artillery. That is why both Ukraine and Russia are tirelessly building it up to counter the enemy.
