The Príncipe de Felipe de Zaragoza Pavilion will live this Sunday the grand final of the 2023 edition of the Copa de la Reina after the exciting semifinal duels that took place this Saturday, April 1. The great event of Spanish women’s basketball, the communion of the fans of the eight best teams of the first round in the same pavilion during four intense days to measure forces in an auxiliary but essential event of the Women’s League. Avenida, Girona, Zaragoza, Gernika, Araski, Estudiantes, Barcelona and Valencia were fighting for the KO tournament in tricky lands, but only one will win the final victory.
Queen’s Cup: quarterfinals
In the first round, Valencia Basket and Casademont Zaragoza defeated Movistar Estudiantes and KutxaBank Araski, respectively. In the second, Lointek Gernika gave the bell after beating Spar Girona, while Perfumerías Avenida fulfilled their expectations by getting rid of the newcomer Barça CBS.

In the first duel of the Saturday afternoon, Casademont Zaragoza made good his condition as a local and the splendid game displayed this season to win against Valencia Basket. In the second clash, Lointek Gernika Bizkaia put it hard against the champions of Perfumerías Avenida, but the charras ended up winning to defend their title where it belongs: in the final.
