Asian Championship 2023: The Asia Cup 2023 is scheduled to be held on the soil of Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Bangladesh will play their first game under the leadership of Shakib Al Hasan against Sri Lanka on 31 August. Now, just days before the Asian Cup, the Bangladesh team suffered a major setback. Bangladesh’s star speed bowler Ibadat Hossain has been ruled out of the 2023 Asian Cup due to injury. In his place, a 20-year-old player got a place in the team.

Ibadat Hussain is out

Fast bowler Ibadat Hossain suffered a knee injury during the ODI series against Afghanistan last month but was included in the Bangladesh squad. He couldn’t keep time. For this reason he had to be excluded from the Asian Cup. Tanzim Hasan, who has yet to win an international match, was selected in place of Ibadat. There is no information on whether or not Ibadat will be fit for the World Cup.

Ibadat Hossain has been in brilliant form, having recorded in all but one wicket since his debut last year. He has won 22 wickets in 12 ODIs for Bangladesh. His elimination from the Asian Cup comes as a real shock.

You can do this work for recovery

Bangladesh Cricket Board sports doctor Debasish Chowdhary said Ibadat had to complete six weeks of rehabilitation after the injury. In the meantime we’ve done several MRIs and reports suggest his anterior cruciate ligament is still a cause for concern. Foreign consultations can also be used for his recovery for the World Cup.
