The second match of the Test series between India and West Indies is played in Trinidad. The India team, captained by Rohit Sharma, recorded a resounding victory in the first match. Indian player Dinesh Karthik has praised Rohit’s captaincy. He has said that Rohit handles his fast pitchers well. Karthik has also praised fast bowler Mohammad Siraj. Karthik believes that India can win the Trinidad test. He said: “This party is only going in two directions. Either Team India will win which is more likely. Or else it will be a tie. To see the West Indies is to feel the same. India will have to get the next five wickets quickly to win.
Significantly, the West Indies scored 229 runs in the first innings with the loss of 5 wickets until late in the game on the third day. He is still 209 runs behind the Indian team. India scored 438 runs to finish in the first innings. Late in the third day game for India, Ravindra Jadeja took 2 wickets for 37 runs in 25 overs. Mukesh Kumar took a wicket for 35 runs in 14 overs. Ashwin took a wicket for 61 runs in 33 overs. Siraj took a wicket for 48 runs in 20 overs.
