This great Pakistani player left PSL and made serious allegations against the franchises

Ahmed Shehzad, once considered the most exceptional batsman in the Pakistan cricket team, has bid farewell to the Pakistan Super League (PSL) forever. He has made serious allegations against the franchises and has vowed never to be a part of PSL in the future. Ahmed Shehzad says that despite performing well in domestic cricket, he is not getting a place in the PSL because the franchises of this league do not want him to play here.

Ahmed Shahzad said, “I have been working hard in domestic cricket continuously for the past few years.” I also performed very well in the National T20 Cup just before the PSL draft. It seems there was a deliberate attempt to keep me out. The franchise also selected those players whose performance and stats paled in comparison to mine. Well, if everything is pre-planned, nothing matters. I don’t know whose responsibility it is to bring top players in domestic cricket to the PSL.

Shahzad didn’t stop there. He said much more. Shehzad said, “I am now parting ways and bidding farewell to PSL for my self-respect. “I have never played cricket for money and will never play it again. While many players choose international leagues around the world. I decided to focus on domestic cricket instead. I think this shows your love for the game and wearing the green jersey again.

Shahzad made his international debut in 2009. He was last seen wearing the Pakistan jersey in 2019. In the last four years, he failed to get a place in the Pakistan team. Even in the PSL he hasn’t been able to get a place since 2020. He was not included in the draft for the coming season either.
