Kulwant Khejroliya took the wickets of Shashwat Rawat, Mahesh Pithiya, Bhargav Bhatt and Akash Singh on the second, third, fourth and fifth balls of the 95th over of Baroda’s second innings after which Madhya Pradesh Baroda followed up. He is the third bowler in Ranji Trophy history to take four wickets in four balls. Before him, Shankar Saini of Delhi and Mohammad Mudhasir of Jammu and Kashmir have done so. Furthermore, Kulwant is the third bowler to take a hat-trick for Madhya Pradesh in the Ranji Trophy.

Madhya Pradesh won the match

The Madhya Pradesh team came first with a great score of 454 runs. Himanshu Mantri scored the maximum number of 11 runs for the team. Captain Shubham Sharma played an innings of 61 runs. After that, all Baroda batsmen were out for 132 runs in the first innings. Playing in the follow-up, Shaswat Rawat definitely scored 105 runs for Baroda in the second innings. But he couldn’t prevent the team from defeat. In the second innings, the Baroda team could only score 270 runs. Because of this, the team suffered a defeat after one innings and 54 runs.
