This AI Imagines What The Beatles Would Sound Like If They Were Still Together Today

The Beatles, arguably the greatest rock group of all time, broke up in 1970.

Subsequently, two members of the quartet died (George Harrison, from cancer in 2001, and John Lennon, murdered by a crazed fan in 1980).

However, thanks to the increasingly creative potential of artificial intelligence, Beatles fans can become a glimpse of what it would have been like if the four had stayed together, or reunited, to produce new music.

First, we can hear AI-generated versions of what John Lennon and Paul McCartney might sound like singing one of each other’s songs. The two songs are filthan acoustic ballad from Paul’s first solo album, and imagineJohn’s classic.

We can also hear three more songs where the AI Now imagine how the Beatles could sound singing songs by other groups.

And finally, we can take advantage of using AI to finish an incomplete Beatles demo.

Watching Rainbows was an unfinished fragment of music that materialized during the Beatles’ Get Back sessions in 1968. A song we can now enjoy fully polished and finished, imagining how it might have sounded on a modern Beatles album.
