The Dominican Golf Federation (Fedogolf) announced this Wednesday the celebration of the first Northern Regional Interassociations Tournament, Banreservas Mastercard Cup.
Golfers from Santiago, La Vega and Puerto Plata will participate in the event, with 24 players per association in the categories Gentlemen A, AA, B and C, Seniors A and B and Ladies A and B on Saturday, August 13.
The tournament will start at 10:00 in the morning, at the Playa Dorada Golf Course, in Puerto Plata, informed Luis José Placeres, executive director of Fedogolf.
The event is sponsored by Mastercard Banreservas, Blue JackTar Hotel and United Brand.
“Everything is ready for this important regional event, which paves the way for the great Inter-Association Tournament that will be held in November of this year in Casa de Campo,” said Placeres.
Prior to this event, Fedogolf also organized the first edition of the Eastern Region Inter-Association Tournament, held at the La Estancia golf course in La Romana in February of this year.
