They study the implementation of a logistics corridor for the viability of the entry and exit of the Port of Haina

The mayor’s office of Santo Domingo Oeste held a socialization meeting with businessmen and industrialists from Puerto De Haina, to enable the Tito Mella Avenue Logistics Corridor.

The general secretary of the building institution, Juan Castillo, defined the meeting as fruitful, with the aim of speeding up the passage of vehicles leaving the aforementioned port for the different regions of the country and recovering public spaces.

Castillo reported that this type of meeting has been taking place for months with the General Directorate of Traffic Safety and Land Transport (DIGESETT), the National Institute of Traffic and Land Transport (INTRANT) and the company that operates the maritime terminal, Haina. International Terminals SA (HIT) Dominican.

At the end of the meeting, the businessmen were optimistic about the project because this will streamline the road and provide more security to transporters by leaving the suburbs and quickly connect the San Cristóbal province with the Santo Domingo Oeste municipality.

The Logistics Corridor of Tito Mella Avenue will generate a great impact on the economy of Santo Domingo Oeste, as planned by the municipal authorities of the municipality.
