They stoned Aldosivi’s bus and injured a player

An Aldosivi player was injured after fans of the Mar del Plata club stoned the bus in which the campus traveled and broke the vehicle windows. The team led by Fernando Gago had fallen 4 to 1 against Godoy Cruz, adding their fourth consecutive defeat in the Professional Football League.

According to police sources, the incident occurred during the afternoon near the Port of Mar del Plata, at the height of Avenida de los Trabajadores and Magallanes Street, when part of the team was going to the club’s headquarters, after the meeting with the Mendoza team at the José María Minella stadium.

In the attack, the fans broke some side windows of the bus – which was accompanied by police custody – and 19-year-old defender Rufino Lucero suffered a left eye injury from glass splinters.

Club authorities repudiated the attack through a statement and assured that “Lucero was treated in an eye clinic, finding himself in perfect condition”.

In the investigation of the attack, the Functional Instruction Unit 1 from Mar del Plata intervened ex officio, in charge of the prosecutor Florencia Salas, who initiated a case for “injuries and aggravated damages due to being framed in the law of violence in sports (Law 11,929)”, and ordered a series of actions.
