The national Macadamia company La Loma presented its products in various international activities where it had the opportunity to exalt the country for the quality and freshness of its nuts.
The executives of Macadamia La Loma attended the International Food Event (IFE), where exhibitors recognized the premium quality of the nut, highlighting the regenerative and inclusive agriculture production model used by the company Corporación Agrícola La Loma. Were invited by the UKAID United Kingdom Trade Partnership Program and the International Trade Center (ITC).
The IFE has been held in London for 40 years and this year it was attended by more than 30,000 buyers from the food industry, and more than 1,500 exhibitors, including Macadamia La Loma. It is defined as the ideal place to discover new brands, tips, tricks, ideas and catering innovations from around the world and the World Food Innovation Awards are presented there.
The La Loma Agricultural Corporation also had a presence in the ProDominican stand, at the trade fair for fresh products that is held every year in Berlin, Fruit Logística, a platform that brings together around 3,300 exhibitors and 72,000 visitors.
The Macadamia La Loma was among the Dominican products that the Export and Investment Center of the Dominican Republic (ProDominicana) presented at the event within the stand of the Dominican Republic, which received more than 4,000 visits from buyers, decision makers and companies interested in the products of the exposed exportable offer.
Biviana Riveiro Disla, executive director of ProDominicana, affirmed that the success of the delegation in Fruit Logística indicates that the country is on the right path. “We continue closing agreements and attracting the intention of buying importers, thanks to the strategy of active promotion of our offer of export”, indicated the executive.
During a visit to Canada in April, the president of Corporación Agrícola La Loma, Mr. Jesús Moreno, was able to share with the largest importer of walnuts in Canada, David Roberts, who highlighted his interest in introducing the Dominican macadamia into his product line.
