He said: “There was a reason why I left television. “I don’t like television because I don’t subscribe to the kind of content they produce. Even today it seems very inferior to me. Maybe that’s his definition of entertainment. They assign women inferior roles.
Speaking about ‘Balika Vadhu’, Vikrant further said, “I was a part of ‘Balika Vadhu’ and this show has empowered hundreds and thousands of people.” I can proudly say that the show has contributed greatly to women’s safety and girls’ education has accomplished. After creating this type of content, I had many arguments with the creators and left some shows.
Talking about work, Vikrant Massey is currently doing films like Aditya Nimbalkar’s ‘Section 36’ and ‘Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba’. Furthermore, there is news that Ekta Kapoor also has a film in the pipeline.
