Mexican authorities have indicated that at least ten bodies have been found in several dozen bags of human remains that were found in a warehouse in Tenango del Valle, some 70 kilometers from Mexico City.
“So far, in the bags that have been found, it is estimated that there are 10 bodies in 42 bags."explained the head of the Secretary of National Defense (Sedena), Luis Crecencio Sandoval, as reported by the newspaper ‘El Universal’.
The discovery of the remains, in bags buried under the floor of an events room, occurred at the end of last week after the arrest of nine alleged members of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel.
“In Tenancingo — 25 kilometers from Tenango del Valle — there were four detainees belonging to the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel on January 10, they were seized with drugs and they gave information on the location of the human remains,” Crecencio explained. .
