They find 112 migrants overcrowded in a house in northern Mexico

Mexican authorities reported this Thursday the discovery of 112 migrants crowded into a home in Nuevo León, a northern border state, where police from the state corporation Fuerza Civil They heard screams coming from the building.

The events, which occurred on Wednesday and were reported a day later, were recorded in the municipality of Salinas Victoria, about 36 kilometers from the city of Monterrey, according to the state Secretary of Public Security.

The uniformed men pointed out that the screams came from a house located on Alondra street in the aforementioned municipality.

After approaching the place, the state police officers were approached by two women who informed them that they were part of a large group of migrants who they had not eaten for several days, so they feared for their health and life.

The presence of two men who were presumably in charge of bring migrants to the border with the United States.

The alleged human traffickers were identified as Daniel “N”, 23 years old, from Nuevo León and Pedro “N”, 34 years old, from Honduras. Both were made available to the corresponding authority.

Among the 112 migrants were 67 men, 31 women and 12 minors, of different non-detailed nationalities.

State authorities requested the intervention of the National Migration Institute (INM) to provide care to foreign citizens.

The fact reflects the record migratory flow to the United States, whose Customs and Border Protection (CBP) office has intercepted more than 2.15 million people so far in fiscal year 2022.
